GEOGRAPHY :
With a surface area of 18,575 km2 New Caledonia is an archipelago which forms part of Melanesia, and includes the Grande Terre (400km long and 50 km wide), the four Loyalty Islands, the Belep Islands, the Isle of Pines, and a few small islands that are more remote, offering a great variety in terms of landscapes.
POPULATION :
